Welcome to Kaskade Jewelry. By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, alongside our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy, and Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully prior to completing any transaction.

1. General & Business Information

This website is operated by Kaskade Jewelry Co. Ltd. (referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates on our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

2. Product Specifications & Made-To-Order Nature

• Standard Production: Unless an item is explicitly tagged and displayed with an "In Stock" or "Ready to Ship" status on the product page, all fine jewelry pieces are individually handcrafted upon order confirmation and payment receipt.
• Handcrafted & Natural Material Disclaimer: Fine jewelry involves natural gemstones, diamonds, and precious metals. Due to the inherent qualities of natural stones and artisanal craftsmanship, minor variations in gemstone color, clarity, inclusion patterns, total carat weight (+/- 0.05ct), or metal weight may occur. These variations are unique attributes of fine jewelry and are not considered manufacturing defects.
• Ring Sizing: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate ring sizes at the time of order. Any subsequent resizing requests after production begins may incur additional labor and material charges.

3. Pricing, Accuracy & Force Majeure

• Pricing Accuracy: We strive to ensure all pricing, gemstone details, and descriptions are accurate. However, typographical, technical, or human errors may occur. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel affected orders and issue a full refund.
• Force Majeure: While we make every effort to dispatch Made-To-Order items within 5 to 7 business days, production timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We shall not be held liable for delayed deliveries resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including raw material supply chain disruptions, customs holds, or courier strikes.

4. Certificates, Warranty & Repairs

• Gemstone Certificates: Where applicable, select diamonds or precious gemstones will be accompanied by third-party grading certificates (e.g., GIA, IGI). The original physical certificate must be retained by the customer.
• Warranty: We offer a 30 days limited manufacturing warranty covering structural defects. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental loss, damage, lost gemstones, or modifications made by third-party jewelers. Any unauthorized repair or resizing by an outside party voids all warranties.

5. Payment Terms, Gateways & Security

• Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Alipay, WeChat Pay, and FPS (Faster Payment System) via secure third-party payment gateways.
• Fraud Prevention & Pre-Authorization: Due to the high-value nature of our products, all orders are subject to security screening. We reserve the right to request identity verification (e.g., proof of ID or address matching the billing address) prior to commencing production.
• Chargebacks & Payment Disputes: You agree to contact our Customer Care team at info@kaskade.jewelry before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, credit card issuer, or payment app. Initiating an unauthorized or fraudulent chargeback while an order is actively in production or after delivery has been verified with an adult signature will be contested legally.
• FPS / Bank Transfers: For payments made via FPS or direct bank transfer, production will only commence once funds have cleared and been successfully deposited into our bank account.

6. Governing Law & Intellectual Property

• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
• Intellectual Property: All original designs, imagery, logos, brand copy, and product photography displayed on this website remain the sole intellectual property of Kaskade Jewelry.
